I have a 98 4.6 v8 4x4 regular cab flare side and wan to put a dual exhaust on it and was just looking for some options/advice. I was looking at a flowmaster super 44 but wanted to see what people thought. Leave your opinion. Thanks

I have a flowmaster 40 series on my truck and it sounds amazing but that's with long tubes and no cats.

I had a Flowmaster 40 when I first bought my truck that the previous owner had installed. It sounded good. When it rotted out I went with straight pipes. IMO I love the way straight pipes sound with the 4.6, I'll never go with another setup.

I had straights with the headers for a bit but it was ungodly loud, but I do have the 5.4.

Borla or Magnaflow. Don't get a flowmaster like EVERYONE else.

Are you gettin a true dual exhaust with an x or h mid pipe and two mufflers or just a single in dual out muffler?
