So I got the Ac Compressor out, installed the dummy pulley- Now when I try to start it it just a long repetitive cranking noise- but no start. I pulled of the belt and tried to start it but same result. I'm really confused, should I pull every fuse to the now gone ac unit?? I'll have AAA try to jump it but the battery should be good- all out of ideas other maybe there is a fuse that needs to be removed- any suggestions?

Almost sounds like the starter is gone now. Probably from being overworked from the bad ac.

check your starter motor, mine just made a clicking sound so i cralled under and right behind and to the left of the passenger front tire, ( looking from the back ) there will be your starter right next to your oil pan, in has the cooling lines running and is a pain in the *** to get out, the cast on mine had cracked and it was dangling by the battery conncection cables, lucky my uncle (im only 15) had the starter in another truck in his junk yard, shoudnt be too hard just gotta get a little dirty
