Trying out every suggestion today, I'll post the results soon.

I would take the belt off and get a breaker bar on the harmonic balancer bolt and see if the engine spins over by hand. Try it clockwise and counter cw. Seems like something is hanging up. If it won't by hand clockwise but will ccw, may want to pull the plugs and retry. May have a hydro locked cylinder IE; coolant or fuel!

after seeing the video, i agree with TRD-toy, it sounds hydro locked, pull the plugs and then turn it over, throw the plugs back in and see if it does it again. that has also haped to my 94' f150, 302

Default Lossened Serpentine Belt

Hi guys!
I loosened the serpentine belt via the tensioner, hand cranked and got it turn over. I'm going to put the belt in tight and if it drives. Maybe I still have a bad ac compressor? Thanks again for all the tips

It sounds like the alt has bad bearings and is seized up. Seen it quite a few times. Try taking the serp off and see if it starts. Remember if it does start shut it right back off dont let it run.

And yes I have seen it where it will act like the engine is seized.

So it runs with the belt off! So it's at least not seized, the alt spins freely, as does the idler. I'm researching A/C compressors now and then power steering I'm guessing-

Did you see if everything turned by hand. I have seen where alyernators will turn freely by hand but when under pressure with the belt seize.

I can't get off the ac compressor clutch, any tips? It looks pretty bad rusted, with part of plate already separating- its gotta be what's seizing the belt. I also bought a shorter belt to try and bypass the ac, but seems wired to bypass the belt tensioner- any thoughts?

If you can live without ac I think there is a bypass kit.
