97 No brake lights-Flashing ABS light-Blows Fuse

I'm now starting to think bad relay under the hood in the fuse panel on the drivers side... but did you check and see if the recall work was done to your truck? the cruise control like someone said earlier

OK one more suggestion from the peanut gallery.
Are your rear licence plate lights working while all this is happening?
I'm guessing the wiring runs together back there. Sounds stupid but its a simple check so I'm throwing it out there

Hahaha wouldn't that be something^^^ lol but he only blows the fuse when he hits the brakes so it's something that's triggered with the tail lights, it's blowing my mind right now... I'm thinking the CC brake sensor but he disconnected it... Now I'm thinkin the switch is bad and grounding out the system somehow

He disconnected the cc from the master cylinder and had the same condition... All they do is fuse that hot wire for the recall, if it was the switch it would blow that fuse and your truck wouldn't catch fire and they wouldn't have needed the recall
He has a short some where else...
Anyone wanna check thier manual and see if the tail lights share a circuit with anything?
Its dark out haha

If not, his truck will catch on fire eventually, like a rolling time bomb.
I had the same issues as him and my truck started catching on fire in my driveway before the new fuse I had inserted blew. The fire is faster than the fuse. I don't think Ford would spend all that money for the recall, and all those F150's would have burned up, if what I posted was a non issue.
I know what I am talking about.
But it's up to him to see if the recall was done or not, it's not my truck.
I wish him luck.

MG,
1) Leave ABS for now. Focus on fuse blowing. ABS may be a separate problem. If tied to fuse blowing, solving fuse blowing will solve ABS.
2) A +12V wire downstream of BOO switch is solidly contacting ground.
3) Someone posted the complete wiring diagram downstream of BOO. Go connector by connector.
4) First disconnect C252 at the switch and check if the + terminal is shorted to the ground.
5) Unplug C159, C203, C205.
6) If still shorts, you will have to cut LG (as you have already done) one branch circuit at a time. It's going to be a time consuming project.

Because someone was saying it was the sensor blowing the fuse when he hits the brakes, I may be wrong but I didn't think it was the sensor blowing the fuse

Not CC
Recall was already done on this truck before I got it.
CC sensor is disconnected anyway so that isn't the problem.
Don't think it's a rear lighting prob as i already cut the Lg and Lg/R wires to the back.
Brake switch is also disconnected. Jumpered the plug to check it's operation and still blows fuse. Not the BOO.
That Post may be the way to go, just checking the wiring. Didn't really think the abs module would blow the fuse.
When I test the non-hot side of the fuse in the panel, resistance to ground, with the brake pressed I get like 5-7 ohm reading. I would expect 0 ohms if it was a hard short to ground? Am I wrong?
