Default 97 f150 lariat dieing for no reason

i have a 97 f150 lariat 4.9l that runs awsome drive it for 5 min it die's acts like it loses all electric to the engin,i replaced feul pump,filter,lines ect.know it aint a feul problem,but if i let it sit for an hour it runs great again for about 5-15 min,then just die's again for another hour or so
no sputtering,or anything like that,acts like its just losing spark
Help,if anyone out there posibly knows wht this can be:-)

Sounds like an electrical short. Break out the DMM and start tracing wires.

Or while it's running pop the hood and start moving wires. If you move a wire or a loom and it dies you know you're problem is there. If it's a wire easy peasy. If it's a loom, open it up and repeat process till it dies again.
