Default 97 f150

I put new plugs and plug wires on and it ran great changed the positive terminal on the battery now it acts like it don't want to crank when I get it to crank it don't want to idol it spits and sputters and has no power it has about 200,000 miles 4.6L V8 any ideas

Go over your work, somethings up. Did you use Motorcraft wires/-you replaced the plugs as well correct? Wires connected correctly? You really should clean all connections on that positive cable contact connections. Since even a new cable can loose connection with it's counterpart due to invisible oxidation.

So yea, go over it.

thanks I used motorcraft plugs not sure about the wires they got them from auto zone told them 97 ford f150 4.6L and I will clean the cables thanks

I assume that all the right wires go to the right plugs?

yes like I said it was running great till the positive battery terminal was changed

Could have blown a fuse somehow accidentally. Just changing the terminal would cause nothing to operate any different. Check fuses both under hood/dash See if something blew maybe. Does the 4.6 have coils? My 5.4 use to do the same thing, after replacing plugs, I realized a couple coils went out. Just a little negative experience.

The 97 4.6 uses 2 coil packs not the 8 cop's.

shop told me the #2 #4 and #6 fuel injectors were not firing are they hard to change and can they be cleaned and can they mess up the plugs

Yes injectors can be cleaned, not too difficult to get them out, I had a diesel shop clean them for $10
