Default '97 4.6L Intake manifold gaskets

Member from the 8th and 9th Gen F-150's section here thinking about getting a '97 Ext. Cab Shortbox with the 4.6L V8 4x4 for quite the deal, but it has an intake leak(upper or lower gaskets, not sure yet) Either way, I've been looking and haven't really found a good write up on it. Would it be a difficult task? I still have my '95, but looking to sell it, so a DD isn't a big issue right now.

I'm working at a parts store, so parts come super cheap

If I do pick it up(it's in another town) would it be a hard task to do either the upper or lower gaskets? I know it has an aluminum manifold. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Easy to do just take off the air intake, heater hoses. vac hoses, plenum. Pull intake replace gaskets and clean some stuff up and put it all back. May want to do the plugs since everything is out of the way.

Should take about a hour.

Awesome, ya I was planning on doing the plugs while I had the manifold off. Just what I wanted to hear, just hoping nobody else gets it before I do!

She was sold before I got to go see it. But there are a few other 97-03's that I've had my eye on, but with a bit higher mileage, 200+KM's. Been doing a lot of reading on these engines and want a Triton!
