I hope you all realize that stock decks and aftermarket decks put out no where near enough RMS to push most aftermarket speakers to their full potential.

They will fit debating on how much they stick out just cut the whole bigger and screw them in. If someone is willing to pay me I can make some 1/4 inch think mounting plates then just cut and weld them in simple as that future project lol

No amount of speaker can really handle my sub thou without putting an amp to all the other speakers. Aftermarket radios just don't have the output to compare to my one 12 inch sub

Wait, I want to understand what you are saying. Are you saying that Both, the front and back will fit as long as I am willing to let them stick out some. My thinking is, why don't we just bolt them in some how, and just the cover that comes with the speaker. My truck is old, not new, and not going to compete in any show. So, can I just bolt 6x9s in the front and back, keeping the magnet away from any moving parts, and just put the aftermarket supplied over on them. Won't be pretty ,but should work, right?

I fit them in the rear doors with just opening up the 6x8 hole. I am referring to the overall stick out of the tweeter and mid if any from the speaker if it sticks out to far the covers won't fit and you will have to cut out the plastic grill. Otherwise making a insert that could be machined and welded in would be a great alternative as well.
