Default 5W-20 Castrol Magnatec Oil

I just drained my oil and added 5w-20 Castrol Magnatec Oil. Reason why? I read that it clings, where otherwise the regular oil just drain. Something to do with starting the engine with major wear and tear. Anyone experience this oil?

Works just as well as any name brand oil, but costs a lot more.

Sounds like a marketing scam to me. Magnatec oil that clings to critical engine parts even when the engines off. How does the oil know if its critical or not. -_-
Also the castrol website says this oil has been protecting cars for 20 years but yet its a new product.
lawl. I'm just spitting crap out my .

Better go buy another quart. Both the 5.4 and 4.6 take 6 quarts.

Yep. Just regular oil. Marketed different. There's a big thread over on the oil guy site about it. Nothing special. But not bad oil.

It's the same as any other oil I've used lol, but I only use the Magnatec because it is on sale a lot and usually cheaper than the rest of the oil that is in stock lol.

I wish amsoil was easier to find. I know it's a big debate but that's typically agreed on... RP full synthetic for me.

Really like Amsoil but it's scarce around here too.

Yep. Haven't tried too hard but I know you can't just run down to the local quickie Mart and pick up 6qts
