Default $500 F150 Update (Fraptor)

Been a while since I've posted the Fraptor. Long story short for people that don't know. 98' $500. Needed few things here and there but that's a longer story already told. Got a huge hookup from mechanic buddy that scored me this.

Here's a before...

As it stands today ...

I will measure tmrw, but I kind of eye balled it a few inches further than stock. It's flatt blk vinyl so it's 0% lol no light at all. And yupp Niteshade ftw

I need money bad too haha! Needed rims and tires when I bought. Rims=$50 all 4 stockers from Tugs90 \m/ and tires brand new from UPS driver at work so at this point I'm not looking to drop more money on bigger and better than I paid for it. Def a future mod for sure.

Anddd 3/4 is wrapped. Got lazy Snd ran out of free material from work so rattled the rest.

So whatcha guys think should be my next mod? I'm sure there's so many things out there I'm unaware of in the truck world. Gotta keep it low low price as its not my daily driver and have very little $$ into it. Just curious what you'd do.

I might take a trip to local junkyard for mirrors. Is there a decent difference between 98 and 99 front bumper? Enough to make me do swap?

hmmmmm interesting, def looks better. If i can find one cheap enough ill definetely be doing this.

On the other hand, Flamesuit on lol i sawed off the exhaust tonight right before where the muffler starts. It ends about a foot into the bed of the truck so no fumes at all! Ill tell ya what i was ****ting my pants doing it thinking i was going to have some awful sounding truck ( i cut to begin with in anticipation to buy new muffler and do a single side exit) but to be honest, i started her up and scratched my head. Sounded awesome! Start = low grumble, acceleration = very low v8'y grumble, deceleration or downshift is pops a little bit. Mind you i ran my GTO open headers for 3 months with LT's into catless mids into nothing so it was extremely loud! This on the other hand is perfect and ill be sticking with this for a while. I will add a u bend, more pipe, and nice tip to exit out the side. Im 110% suprised with it not changing much but at the end of the day it made it just loud enough for my liking!

Also, i dont tow, race, or accelerate like nuts with this truck so if i lose some bottom end im fine with it, i havent noticed any loss as of yet, mpg's i might lose a fraction. if i need something fast this truck is not it and never will be it, thats what the GTO is for
