Default 5.4L Engine Code P0307 : /

2003 Ford F150 screw.

Misfire on Cylinder 7.

COP, Fuel Injectory??

It started yesterday abruptly last night and made the 20 mile drive home a pain in the ****. I kept the truck around 60 mph. The engine would shake and shudder. Pushing down on the accelerator just made it worse. But, over the course of the drive home the engine smoothed out. It still seemed like one cylinder wasn't firing right though.

This morning I go out and start the truck and revved it a little bit. Still seemed like one cylinder wasn't firing quite right but wasn't anything like the night before. I didn't drive it to work.

How cold was it outside, mine starts and runs rough till the engine warms up, if its 45 degrees or colder. I know its the COP's, i'm getting the same codes, except mine has like two that are going.

It was warm actually. Low 60's. It's been a lot colder recently and I haven't had this happen.

If it was a COP why would it seem to correct itself? I thought if it went bad it would just be dead.

Yep, it was just the COP. And it ran better than before the COP acted up.
