can you measure approximately what you cut off?
That would be a huge help

You really dont have to cut anything. just pull the excess line through the pedal and clamp it. Then cut it off. I think it was about 6 inches or so. Just have someone make sure your tb is completely closed when the pedal is up.

The truck made it to the top of revenue mountain here in Colorado. Just a few feet shy of 13,000ft. Or about 2.5 Mi elevation. It was a crazy trail and had to stop a few hundred feet short of the end of the road due to huge boulders in the road. Absolutely insane trail, and definitely got sketchy! But was well worth it. I was worried the lack of oxygen would cause start issues, but the tune prevailed without incident.

Also came across a huge 16pt bull moose! It's going to be a monster by fall!

Here's a few pics:

Can you spot the truck lol?

This is what happens when you loan out your truck...My truck popped a plug (#8 cyl), but luckily it threaded right back in. It was just not tourqed down after changing plugs. Then my dumbass friend drove it 60 miles on it with the broken cop on #8 and it melted my #2 plug. I'm sure the fueling was way outta whack running on 7 cylinders since my #8 didn't fire at all. The insert on #2 came out too since it was fused with the plug!!!

Compression still looks good, borescope showed all was healthy. So def a win for NGK tr6 plugs if your boosted. The fact that they melt under detonation is your last hope of defense. There was no debree in my cylinder either. I didn't get to check the spark plug boss, but im sure it's fine. Lets hope for another 30k outta this thing!!

Yeah definitely could have been worse. I have a slight tick now on that side. Sounds like it's coming from the valvetrain. Checked all the plugs and they're tight. I guess ill just have to learn to live with it now. Most people probably wouldn't even notice. Im still pissed about this.

Got some more kinks worked out in the tune and i've been able to let the truck stretch her legs with the new transmission. So far i love it! Did a few 2nd gear pulls at 60% throttle and hit a modest 8#'s of boost, WOT i hit 15. But this 4 door pig screams down the road and definitely pushes you back into the seat.

Got Heat exchanger fans installed and fixed some TPS and throttle cable issues along with some trans variables fixed in my tune.

And here's the latest time slip, i was racing a buddies bone stock lightning, but he beat me. My trans slipped and failed halfway on this pass - I'm pretty certain my truck is slightly quicker than a stock lightning now.

New plates:

New Trans which is now installed:
Hey man are you still running a 4r70w or did you swap to a 4r100?
