Only reason I went E85 as I dont drive the truck everyday so it was negliable in cost for myself. You 42lb injectors will not support the power goals you are trying to achieve. Your going to need to be in the 55-60lb range at a minimum.

Replace rods and pistons. I think it's pointless to change cranks if you aren't changing or building up the tranny.

Well that's the thing. The 02/03 model f150's got 8 bolt cranks, the rest of us got the 6 bolt which aren't able to hold the power of the 8 bolt. I think it's more of a security thing. 8 bolts are cheap insurance.

Yeah I was thinking 60 pounders to give him room to grow.

What year is your truck? Mine has the factory forged crank (03 with PI heads) with 8bolts. I forgot Ford kept changing things from year to year on these things. By my reading its about impossible to tell unless you look at it or ping it with a hammer or look at the parting lines.

Are you going with a 4 bolt main?
