Got the top of the manifold all cleaned up for the new gaskets. Also got a new IAT2 sensor with a new knock sensor!!
Hopefully tonight i will be installing the new sparkplugs (NGK-TR6)...What do i gap these at & whats the tourqe spec here?
Also will be putting the lightning manifold on and building up from there.

I would NOT unplug the knock sensor...just have the tuner adjust for it..or turn it off in the tune
I am glad I had mine still working. I had a bad tank of fuel once and the knock sensor saved my motor when it went to lean and started to ping
I had a tune with it off and would run it when I had "good" fuel at the track but daily driving I ran the tune with the knock sensor on

I've went ahead and bought a new one, but it can still be disconnected. I've posed this question on lightning rodder. I'll see what the lightning / conversion dudes say.

I've had some huge setbacks in the last day or so.
The original owner of the truck had told me that the #2 plug blown out and an insert was used. I knew i was in trouble the second i realized my socket didn't fit on the plug in cyl #2. After trying different socket sizes, we pulled out some b.s self tapping jerry rigged sparkplug sleeve which had a different sparkplug inside!
We had to use a helicoil head repair kit, we re-tapped the inside of the head and then placed in an insert with lots of thread locker for a proper repair.
I also realized im missing the bolts pictured below. 4 of the studded bolts are 33$ a pop from ford!
Should be smoother sailing tomorrow. At this rate the intake manifold is installed along with the coils and fuel injectors.

That sucks about the bolts. I can believe the price though, I had to buy a few of them from ford and was blown away. Try a tractor supply store farm/fleet or tsc? At least u found out about that plug now instead of under boost later, keep up the good work...looking better!
