Yup, a locker or lsd differential was optional. Mine has a one wheel wonder.

i would say adding skid plates shouldne be too difficult...should just bolt right up to an xlt...if not you can always have a shop fab you some up...

Fx4s come with ranchos, 17 inch wheels for the beefed up disc brakes (i believe), all terrain tires, 3.73 ls on a screw and 3.55 ls on a scab, guage cluster, optional manual transfer case, colored mouldings and bumper pad, skid plates (gas tank, transfer case, and front end), optional center console. No all of them come in two tone.

Ive had both 2003 fx4 s-cab, and now my 2003 fx4 s-crewcab, ive dont my hw ha ha.

Skid plates should just bolt right up on an xlt though.

They should bolt right up to the xlt's, but what about the lariat's? I was looking under my front end and it doesn't look to promising. I am going to check about the gas tank and differential.

That's because most people that shell out the cash for an FX4 want the most power they can get stock too. My brother has an '02 F-150 Scab FX4 with the 4.6L in it.

Just a real quick question while we are on the subject, i just bought my 2000 f150 in august when I saw the truck i thought it was a regular 4x4 cause it had a regular 4x4 sticker, but when we went inside to sign the papers to buy it the dealer told me that it has the fx4 package but how can i really tell????
