Default 4x4 vacuum harness

Well it appears in the process of moving my vacuum harness around and out of the way etc to replace my AC compressor a few months ago it may have broken it, cuz I got no vacuum at the front actuator now.

What are the options today for replacing this?

Does dorman produce one of these for our trucks or is that only for newer models? I can splice it with some vacuum hose I'm sure but I'd rather replace it with something that won't break again

Mine broke as well, but that was 12 or 14 years ago. I repaired it with a Mighty vac kit and new line back then. You may end up piecing it like that.

Use MEK for the repair. The joints will be leak free and tight. MEK shrinks the rubber around the joint as it dries. Not permanently but leak free and tight.

you can also try TASCA, they use to carry those lines as old stock. Some pic's, -

Anybody got the part numbers for the vacuum harness? It's not listed in my manual.

The part is 3A788.

Full number XL3Z-3A788-AA

Good luck finding it, you prob have to repair it like I said. It's easy, the repair lasted 14 years

Yeah , Dorman might have something. It's been so long now , not sure were to get a repair kit anymore.

I did see the small fittings in the "Help" isle at one of the 3rd party suppliers stores recently.

Looks like there may be a few leftovers out there still at a few dealerships, none near me.

I think I found the problem. Don't know how it happened but it's melted into the exhaust manifold I'm guessing that's where the leaks are.....😮

One of the lines broke at the solenoid when I was pulling them off to test the vacuum there... It was easily fixed by sliding a length of 7/16 ID rubber tubing over both ends of the broken part... The tubes appear to be about 5/32 od. So I ordered some tubing...nylon... Good to 300° f too bad it only comes in Black in that size. I used the 1/8 inch or nylon for water pump gauge tubing on my boat it's good stuff.
