Default 4x4 selector help please!!!!!

I recently noticed that my 4 wheel drive selector switch on my 2003 king ranch did not have any reaction in either position Hi or low. So I replaced the transfer case motor. I was careful to place the sensor pin in the new motor connector where it was in the original. Everything seemed to go together ok.
Now when I switch in to 4wheel hi the 4x4 indicator lights up on the dash and the way it labors in turns tells me the front wheels are engaged. However I can't get the low to engage. I really never used it but I think it should be working. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have the same problem, when I put it in 4 low I don't here any relay clicking, no dash light, and it definitely isn't in 4 low.

to engage in 4 low you need to put the truck into park or maybe neutral.

I'm pretty sure it will just kick into 4wd. like it won't allow it until it is in neutral

It will not shift into 4 Low until you come to a complete stop...shift into "N" and apply the brake.
