It's a Dorman 600-603 - like I said, it was the wrong part but worked and was probably cheaper than the right part since 7700 parts are hard to find.

We are in 4wd season here in Maine. What a pleasure it is to be able to shift into 4wd without having to use a 2 foot pipe on the shifter. It's a 2 finger deal now after replacing that shifter last summer.
