4WD Problem
I think I may have a 4x4 problem and was looking for a little assistance. I have 2002 F150 with the 4x4 on the floor, it was snowy last week and when I pulled the handle back on the floor nothing happened. The handle moved into 4H but all four wheels were not turning. I could do the same for 4L and again the 4x4 would make all four wheels turn together. I am curious to why this is because the 4x4 on the floor moves the trucks wheels dont spin together. Thank You

Only one tire spins the back right, the handle on the floor moves but that is the closest thing to making all wheels work together. So the handle moves but there is no difference in its traction.

Are you absolutely positive only one rear wheel is spinning? There's a vacuum actuated pin that slides into the front axel when you engage the 4wd. If the pin gets all gummed up the force from the vacuum won't be enough to move it. There's a plastic cover on the differential start by taking that off and on the passenger side toward the front of the vehicle there should be a pin that looks like it slides into the axel. Spray it with some pb blaster and see if that helps. My 4wd did the same thing earlier this year and that fixed it.
