Finally got the gears and have started to do the swap today... Pulled the axle to find that every single bolt had be cut off and all the bolts were still in there, just cut in half.. haha. I'm about 75% done but It got real late and we decided to call it a night... I'll keep you guys posted on when its all done and I'll let you guys know the difference.

I would have updated my axle since u ordered gears but that's just me. I woulda got a 14 bolt rear end with disc brakes. But it's still gonna be pretty sweet I wanna go to 4:10 gears but I can't afford the front and back so it will be a while

Well got it done... Pain in the ***** Haha.... The gear part isn't too bad, its just the pulling the whole axle thing, got them set and it seems to be a lot better but I had to drive 15 easy miles and then park it tell its fully cooled down then I have to go fairly easy on it tell 500 miles are up.... I'll be driving to the coast tomorrow and ill let you guys know how it does. I'll also post some pictures later

Why did you drop the entire axle to do the gears? You can swap gears with the axle still in the truck.

Cause its much easier working on it out of the truck, trying to get the backlash and everything like that.... If I had a car lift then I would probably just leave it in
