Not knocking anyone. It's your money, do with it as you please.

I swear to god my truck runs better after a full exterior/interior detail and oil change.

So basically, you are saying exhaust does nothing at all to help your truck? Airflow doesn't either right?

And yeah, Im spending 20 grand to get a 3 second better 0-60. Money well spent. Even thou my current truck is more then capable of doing everything I need

But honestly OP throw on a decent SiDo exhaust for a few hundred.. If you don't notice a power difference, at least it now sounds better.

I added a lightning blower to a N/A motor.

I have a 2000 ext cab 4x4 i have alot of work on mine if you want big noticeable change do cam, injectors, tuner...etc.... the cold air intake with the exhaust and high flow cats is gonna leave you with very little improvement.....my truck has a lunati cam, a 4" lift, 25lb injectors, ported and polished heads, a edge tuner, k&n cold air intake with a airaid throttle body, bbk shorty headers with 2.5" dual pipe with turbo mufflers, 4.10 gears, after 5g of work i gained about 130 hp and 145 ft lbs torque very little gain for all the time and work

Don't get the ole panties in a wad. I never said not to do it or that it was dumb. Like I said, it's your money. I would rather put mine elsewhere.

If you go all out, sure. It will give you a few more ponies. Long tubes, high flows, straight through, mandrel bent pipe...etc. What are we looking at, over grand just in parts and more if a shop does it? For what? How much HP? 10, 20, 30? Maybe? At WOT?

I have a hard time believing 130/145. Has it been dyno'd?

Pretty much, on the mustangs the cats were worth about 15 HP by going to an X pipe. Mufflers add nothing but sound. CAI are not worth more than 5 HP on a stock motor, same with headers. They help with a blower or a stroker motor but on a stock engine, it's not worth the money.

For a 281 CI thats naturally aspirated thats really not bad at all...a N/A engine won't respond to mods like a FI.
