Default 4.2 decent exhaust?

So I'm thinking about a new cat-back exhaust to give my v6 a little better of a sound. I know there aren't many options for a great sound on a v6 but does anyone have any recommendations?

I've got dual flow masters and it's about the best it gets. It's the best sounding v6 I've heard

Is it a deep loud sound?

I played around with my 4.2 exhaust for a while, I put multiple flowmasters and thrush welded on and it was just to quiet it wasn't much louder than stock so I removed the rear cats and put a super 44 on and I live it, it has a nice low rumble at low rpm

I ran a single in duel out flowmaster super 40 on my old 4.2 and it sounded great. Everybody that heard my truck and didn't know what was under the hood thought it was a v8. Had a great tone.

Thanks for the responses! I've heard some trucks sound like ricers and I don't want that. I'll look into the 40/44.

You're not going to be able to be "loud" without giving away the fact that it might be a v6. I've heard single in dual out flowmasters however and although they were not glasspack loud, they had a good rumble and you'd really have to listen to tell it wasn't a v8. I'd go with a 40 or a 44, a single in dual out is easy to do, looks good and it will have a nice deep rumble.

That guys truck sounds very nice. I'd be more than happy if my truck sounded like that. I'll have to start saving some money.

For a V6, I love the sound too. I'm gonna have to do the same to mine!
