Default 3in spindle lift

Help, someone! Just bought some 3in spindles for my 99F150 and put them on last week. No big deal, looks tuff but took it to the shop to fix the negative camber and they told me today that they adjusted tie rods all the way and still need about 6degrees more. With the 3in spindles i have 1.5in daystar spacers to make up 4.5ins of lift in the front. I have a set of 2in blocks that i wanted them to put on for me. They have not done the blocks yet. If the front is at 4.5 ins higher than stock and the rear is at stock, that would be way positive on the caster and would make it hard to get the proper alinement, i would think? Or am i way off, and need something more to fix this? From what i have seen, they all say just put the spindles on and you should be on your way. Not for me!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!! This is a 2wheel drive.

It would make it have more caster without the blocks in the rear but shouldn't make it that out of wack. Those knuckle's are probably only supposed to be used by themselves. You might end up having to do is take your 1.5" spacer out and see if that works.

Thank you To Top Gun Customz!!!! I got a e-mail from a tech person from procomp, and he said the front end was not made to be lifted that much without adding upper control arms or other things for the lift i have. Procomp said to lose the 1.5 lift spacers and go from there. Procomp does not make the spindles anymore and they did make upper control arms at that time, but not anymore. I bought the spindles off of ebay from someone selling them. You were right on, Top Gun Customz and I have to say the people at procomp were killer for the help. Spindles are the way to go if you do not want over a 3.5 in lift and can spend around 600.00 to do it. I bought the spindles on ebay for 200.00 new and put them on myself. The local shop will charge me 65.00 to put the blocks on the back and 65.00 to get the wheels back to were they are not turn in or out. Really for all the drama, it would had been better to have a shop to do it for the extra money!!!!!!!!!!! But by doing this I now know a lot more about how things work on the front of my truck. When i get this done I will post a photo of the truck. My son will be getting this truck if he gets his deploma in may, and then i will buy me a F150 4wd and see how high my money can make it!!!!

Default 3in Rough Country Spindles 2" blocks

Just installed the rough country spindle lift. Looks great, rides like a rough country if you know what i mean.... bottomed out first day and now i vibrate violently at red lights in Drive... also shakes a little bit when i accelerate past 25 mph but stops when i let off gas. Im pretty sure this is because i hit some hard bottom ruts and bottomed out and knocked my motor mount loose, not sure and will have it checked out this weekend. I dont really have a good review for the lift yet, but looks sexy as hell with 31s, i could squeeze 33s with lift, but would have filled wheel well and i would have rubbed at full turn. Here's some pics squatin and sittin.3in spindle lift-477707_2871768875429_1296114733_32217693_2059217911_o.jpgName: 477707_2871768875429_1296114733_32217693_20592179112.jpg

I have a 2002 F150 2WD. I want to get fabtechs 3.5 spindle lift and rear blocks along with a 1.5 coil spacer. Im currently running 16" style steel rims with 235/75R16 tires. I do want to upgrade my rims to the FX4 alloy stock rims which are 265/70/R17. My question is, will these spindles work with my stock 16" for the time being. And then later on, upgrade to the 17"

Yeah they will work. And 265/70r17 is guna look way small with 3.5" spindle and 1.5" coil spacer. Try 285/70r17 or 305/65r17

Thanks for your reply. Quick question. The rim is a 17x7.5. Is there give or take to tire sizes as in the first number. I know the last is rim dim. So that stays the same. Because the first number is the width of the tire by 70%. So im asking whats your recommened size for this size rim.

Actually all 3 numbers matter in that ratio. a 305/70R16 tire, is a smaller overall diameter than a 305/70R17 tire.
