Procomp said to lose the 1.5 lift spacers and go from there. Procomp does not make the spindles anymore and they did make upper control arms at that time, but not anymore. I bought the spindles off of ebay from someone selling them. You were right on, Top Gun Customz and I have to say the people at procomp were killer for the help. Spindles are the way to go if you do not want over a 3.5 in lift and can spend around 600.00 to do it. I bought the spindles on ebay for 200.00 new and put them on myself. The local shop will charge me 65.00 to put the blocks on the back and 65.00 to get the wheels back to were they are not turn in or out. Really for all the drama, it would had been better to have a shop to do it for the extra money!!!!!!!!!!! But by doing this I now know a lot more about how things work on the front of my truck. When i get this done I will post a photo of the truck. My son will be getting this truck if he gets his deploma in may, and then i will buy me a F150 4wd and see how high my money can make it!!!!
So what exactly are they saying you should do if lifting over that height? Alot to take in there. all good info though

So it's not a good idea to go with the spacers. The reason for it is because the truck sags in the front. By doing this I would hopefully be close to level. I also heard that rough country spindle lift is garbage. Do u think so? And lastly, does anyone know about fabtech a 3.5 spindle lift kit with the rear blocks. I want to make sure the blocks are 3.5 as well

The first number is the width of the tire and the second number is what percentage of that width is the sidewall. So a 285/70R17 would be 285mm wide and 70% of 285 is how tall the sidewall is
I awouldnt go over 305mm wide on the stock rims because they tend to wear in the center quicker if you do. But some people run 315/70r17 or 315/75r16 (35x12.5) no problems. i have a 3.5" spindle and 2" coil spacer and im running 285/75r16 and it looks smallish but still good so a 285/70r17 should look good with your lift. They are both 33" tires

You lift the front 3.5" and lift the rear 3.5" its going to look stock just 3" higher.

You have personally installed them? Do you know the kind of material is used? And why Rough Country is $435 and Fabtechs is like $700?

Fabtech costs more because its blue and says fabtech on it. From what i've heard that is. I can't imagine what "better" there's could be from the other brands

The rough country and doetsch brands are pretty good. Fabtech being the top shelf, mostly for brand recognition. I have a doetsch set and have had to replace one spindle due to a bearing issue. No clue if it was caused by the spindle or not, most likely not.

I mean, more or less. Don't go buy the cheap $200 set on ebay that doesn't even have a brand name. Buy one from a reputable company but I don't think there's anything to be gained by spending the extra hundreds for a fabtech
