Default 35's and stock gears MPG's?

I have had my truck for about three months now and this weekend was the first time i drove it out of town. It was a round trip of 252 miles all high way driving and i averaged 10.5 mpg. I have the 5.4 with 3.73 gears on 35x12.5r17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I am not complaining about the mileage i know its a truck and im going to get poor mpgs but im just curious what yall are getting?

Search "MPG" or "Mileage". You'll find lots of threads.

10.5 is really low even for 35's unless you're driving like a kid. You'll also need more than a few road trips to gauge true mpg although the math is there. Conditions change and you really want an average of everything.

That's exactly what most of the threads say, "Use the search.. ..there are tons of threads."

I kept the cruise control at 75mph but i would say about 1/4 of the drive was hills.

I get about 15-16 in the city. On the highway I get anywhere from 19 to 26.

35x12.50R18 Nitto mud grapplers on stock 18x9 lariat wheels.

Don't get me wrong, I'm with you on the using your own brain thing but this place is a Shotgun blast of information.

Sometimes you can search 100 threads and only find 1 or 2 singular posts worth a darn. Then other times you'll find the motherload of information in a single thread of a thousand.

The problem with all forums is without individual topic stickies for every tedious thing, people just regurgitate what they heard other smarter sounding people already said. (correct or not.)
