The amount of front lift will be determined on how much rake you want if any at all and the amount of lift you get from the block will be 3''. Please note that you will not be able to pass much more than 2'' for front coil lift with stock control arms. So that will make your decision that much easier on what you want to do. Another thing that will halp is for you answering this question i assume your 2WD?

yeah. its 2wd. i just hate how low to the ground it is. would it even out with 2 inch spacers or would i be better off exchanging the rear blocks in for a 2 inch set?

For level your best bet is to go 1-2. The back should be higher than the front as it sits stock. to keep stock rake 2-2 is the way to go for that.

Here is a picture of my old truck with 3'' blocks in the rear and 3.5'' rough country spindle lift and 1.5'' coil spacer up front. It sat just barely nose high in the front, only I could tell though. It looked perfectly level. Its a 1997 f150 2wd btw. on 285 75 16

so i should be good with 1.5-2 inch spacers up front and the 3 inch on the rear? did you have to do any modifications to it or was it a cut and dry project?

No you will be very very rear high with 3" block in rear and 2" spacers in front. 2" spacers make the truck level without any blocks in the rear. Since you have 3" blocks in the rear, youll have to bring the front up 3", then 2 more inches to be level. Youre guna have to run 1.5-2" spacer AND 3" or 3.5" lift spindle in the front to be level with a 3" block.

Green is on the right track there but the fact is a 10+ year old rig will not be 2'' high in the back from the sagging the leaf springs have done. Maybe when they were brand new they will they have 2'' rake but not now. it will be 1'' rake to completely level as it is now. So best thing to do is park on level surface and measure to see what you have then go from there on what you need to level it. But it will not be 2'' higher in the back right now.

Like others have said, unless you get spindles and spacers your still going to sit way high in the rear with 3'' blocks. I forgot to add the word spindle after 3.5'' rough country. I had a 3.5'' rough country spindle lift with a 1.5 spacer to make it sit level with 3'' blocks in the rear. Your best bet would be to get you some 1.5'' or 2'' spacers and go ahead and add them to your truck before you put in the blocks and see how it sits. But, unless you get spindles with the spacer, or springs, its going to sit higher in the rear with those 3'' blocks. You could always just go ahead and get your spacer and add a spindle lift with it later down the road with your 3'' blocks.
