The 4.6 will most likely not get 2-3 more than the 5.4 with the same setup.

You might think that but in all reality your trucks going to struggle more then a 5.4 to push bigger tires so you might get 1mpg better them him, luckily

So going up one ratio to 3.90s should be perfect for my 4.6 then? Or try and program it first. As long as i can get 15mpg or more ill be fine.

I'd figure about 1.5 mpg with just the gear swap.

I'd do 3.73 first
then do Gibson side swept cat back
then do air intake
then maybe a re-program

Ok ill do a bit more research before i decide. Mainly i want to correct my speedo/odo, gain some power, take strain of the motor, and get decent milage.
