2WD XLT. Lift needed to achieve FX4 height?
I have a 2WD XLT with 265/70R17 tires. After some looking I have decided that I like the stock FX4 height (and also don't think I can go much larger with those tires - however opinions welcomed here). With that said, what is the best way to achieve this? 3in coil spacer + AAL? How much higher would the rear need to be raised? I am not a fan of the look of a body lift and don't want to negatively effect towing capability. Thanks!!

my 2wd screw has rough country springs up front and im about to run a 285 70 17. that's if you want it leveled. fx4 rake you would need the springs plus either AAL or maybe a block in the back.

3.5" spindle lift is what you need

I'm definitely a noob in regards to lift options. If I go with the spindle lift in the front, should I go with blocks in the back or an AAL? Pros/cons of each? |
I'm selling a 3 1/2 inch spindles and 3 inch coils with rear block and 285/75/16 falken Rocky Mountains with 16x9 vtech Assassins

I just purchased the 265/70R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers - mainly because I couldn't get my hands on any kind of lift quick enough (Picked the truck up out of state and old tires were dry rotted). So I think that 3.5" spindles are going to be to much for the 265's. |
