With the spindle lift, the ride quality will remain. Unlike coil spacers, which will greatly roughen up your ride, because they provide lift by putting your suspension further down in the stroke, you lose a lot of down travel, giving you a very harsh ride. Spindles are basically just like stock spindles just made with the snout where the wheel mounts is made on the lift spindles further down, which brings the wheels down and makes the front end higher, all angles of suspension and steering components are not changed so your ride will be the same as stock.
I've used the rough country kits on several trucks with good luck. They come with everything you need. The shocks aren't the greatest but they are definitely better than the stock 2wd shocks.

So, after some additional research, I think I have bit of a challenge here. The only name brand spindles that I can find in 3.5" are fabtech and doetsche - both of which I understand are good quality. The fabtech kit comes with new shocks, which I prefer. Rough Country only comes in 3" spindles from what I can tell. It comes with a 2" rear block (wouldn't this setup create a slightly higher rear-end by .5"?)
I would say to hell with it and go with the fabtech kit, but my wheels have a 4.95 backspacing. Fabtech's site says that nothing more than 4.5 should be used, and I really don't want my wheels to bump out.
Do you or does anyone else know if the other kits have this same limitation? No other brands state this issue.

If im correct, the UCA and spindle connection is within the wheel well. With the additional lift, the connection is now out and about the wheel. IF that makes sense.

I spoke to someone at performancelifts.com today. Because my rims have a 4.95" backspace. The spindles won't work unless I add a .5" spacer. I wouldn't want to do anything other than a billet aluminum spacer - even if I could find one with a 5x135 bolt pattern, that's at least another $240 for a full set... So it looks like I will need to find some new wheels with a 4.5" backspace...
