Default 2wd lift question

Hey everyone I love my truck but being a 6 cylinder 2 wheel drive I don't know what my options are. I searched a lot of old threads and found a few 2wd jacked up but what size tires can my 6 on the handle. I was thinking about a inch in a half or 2 inch leveling kit and a 3 inch body lift and gone with 33 or 35 inch tires. I know it's not extreme lift but I wanted to be sure .

Oh yea its a 2001 scab
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

My 2wd has the 4.6 and even then my truck struggles really performing with my 33's so unless you also want to re-gear your truck I wouldn't go over a 33. Besides..as i've learned...if your not going to completely re-haul the truck, simply lifting and bigger tires won't really make your truck perform much better offroad. But if your simply going for looks, then the cheapest and in my opinion best way to simply lift the truck would be a leveling kit, preferably the replacement lift coils, and a body lift.

Thanks auburnfan , i am going just for the looks. Not alot of offroading down in new orleans. But I still like some getup and go. Wasnt planing to regear tho. I have 265 on stock 16 rims, I guess i will do a step at a time And start with the leveling kit.
I just order a full front end kit off ebay . Sway bar links ,A arms and bushins , tie rods , and ball joints . Going to order new shocks also. Should I get new coil springs or does the coil spacers work find ? Also what size should i go .I found the spacers in 1.5 - 3inch
Keep in mind im going for looks not offroad .

It would cost a little more but either way i'd do the full coil spring kit. You can get them from Rough Country. It gives a full safe 2 inches of lift while remaining just 1 component in the suspension. I've ran both kits and am much happier with the coils. And like I said, if your not looking to re gear than in my opinion i'd stay with a 33" or smaller.

If you do do just the spacers the 1.5" kit is simply just the spacer, the 3" is a little more complex kit if I remember right. Nothing major...just something to thank about. I did the 1.5" and it gave me actually about 2" of lift.
