What is the best way to level a 2wd? I've read about a few different options and just wanted to get an opinion on which method works best and is the most durable

A lot of people will say spindle lift. It's the best riding and most durable way to go a bit more costly compared to coil spacers but worth it ride wise. Also heard its front suspension friendly. Meaning wont wear out the front suspension components. I'm goin with spindles myself. Hope this helps some.

X2 on the spindle lift. Way worth the cost over coil spacers or lift coils. Rough country makes a good priced complete kit

How big of tires are you going to run with the lift?

It's not the lift that hurt mpg it's the size tire you put on. That's what I've always thought. Bigger tire heavier than stock more power to push and so on.

I think I'll probably leave my 31's on. Just want to level the truck

Well it shouldn't hurt the mpg then. Just lifting that's all. That's what I would think anyway.

Yeah you MPGs won't be affected by the lift. Also, This post is what fixes my problem on the issue I am having with my driver side spindle so THANK YOU! Anyway, my driver side spindle was shot, and I contacted Ford to get a new one and the price was outrageous for the OEM part. $481.99 just for 1 driver side knuckle/spindle. Rough Country out of Tennessee offers a pair of 3.5in lift spindles designed to Level up the 2WDs with the rear, and make for better clearance and smoother ride and are priced at $299.00 for the pair. I'm basically benefitting from this option, and this post solved my problem, as well as will give me a better look/ride in my truck! Basically if you can hold out for the part, I would recommend it! The parts ship the same day you order them.
