295/70/17 toyo RTs
Hey guys
I'm looking to get a new tire and I've been pretty set on the Toyo open country RT. I love how 285/70/17s fit on these trucks with stock suspension or with the tbar raised a bit.
How would the 295/70/17s look on these trucks? The toyo RTs are cheaper for some reason for the 295s over the 285s. Would the 295s look too stuffed?
Does anyone also have these tires on theses trucks?
Thanks.

2wd or 4wd? lifted? leveled? stock height?
also you are looking at a half inch or so more overall. so get your tape measure and measure from tire to the closest point on the fender well. is that too close for you?

I would think they would fit. As far as looking "too stuffed" I run 315/75 so my opinion is no but take it for what its worth. I dont think you will have any issues but if you do you can always level it.

family wagon you put 35s on the back without blocks? do you rub at all? I have 3" blocks and if i hit a bump or load down the back too much I rub. I am gonna trim the plastic back if it ever stops raining.

I used to run 35's with no lift (just t bar crank) and I hated every second of it. It looked like it was lowered on big tires. I love the look of these trucks on 33's personally. It's the perfect size.
As far as the Toyo R/T's, I don't think they're all that great for the money. I haven't personally ran them but I work with a lot of guys that bought them the day they came out (not literally but pretty close) and it doesn't seem like they wear all that good and the M/T's perform better and look better.
I love the BFG K/O II's though they wear great and have amazing traction. Also the price is a steal for the tire you're getting. I just put a set of 275/70R18's on my F-250 for $1100ish out the door with free rotations and balancing for the life of the tire.

The 295s would look just fine and barely rub up front on the valance. I went with the toyo at 285/75r17 at2 extremes and have about 37000 miles on them and just now made it to half tread.
