I don't see you fitting 315s without a BL.

I just don't see how they'd fit if my truck was 3" Lower

I don't know how wide RVTKRs tires are or the ones you're wanting to get but just make sure you've got clearance all the way around... and not just when sitting on the ground. You don't always hit bumps when your wheels are straight. (Note* this is specially for 315s, you shouldn't have any issues with 285)

I'm aware lol there's a whole sticky to 35s with tbars cranked... but running them properly is a different story. If you read the very first post in that sticky it'll tell you what size rims to run (width/backspacing is the biggest issue). You can stuff them yes but I wouldn't suggest that. If you do any off-roading (doesn't have to be extreme mud bogs but driving to a huntin/fishing site or even just drive on some bad roads) I don't see good things happening when you hit some uneven terrain and your tire has no where else to go but up. If you don't have full suspension travel with wheels turned in all directions, I wouldn't be running that.

Now an XLT in Colorado
And yes, no problems at all with 285's.
Unless you need every inch of clearance possible, I see no reason for 35's other than appearance (and in my opinion, they look silly stuffed on without a lift), and the decreased performance and potential clearance problems just aren't worth it.
