Default 2008-2011 Trailer tow mirrors on a 2002

I want to put the F150 trailer tow mirriors introduced in 2008 on my 2002 F150 supercab XLT. The mirrors on now are power w/o turn signal. The trailer tow mirrors would be power w/ turn signal. Furthermore how would the mounting work? Are the mounts on the 02 able to accept 08-11 mirrors?? Also what about relays/fuses for the features of the mirror is it able to bump up a 15 to. 30 amp fuse. Would it be plug and play?

I'm in the same boat. Like my 02 F150 supercab but I hate the passenger car style mirrors it came with. What did you wind up going with and how did it work out for you? I looked into it a while back and I only came accross 2 models that seemed like they would work on the factory mounts.
First the ones from visiocorp also called Schefenacker:
http://www.ttt-mirror.com/featureanalysis.html
manual extention, optional power mirror, optional heated mirror and optional signal, works with factory mount or so they claim.
Second set I found on ebay being sold by Option Racing, same features available:

Found the option racing website but couldn't find them there.

Those last mirrors look awesome. I'd get a set if they had power option to them

I hate my OE mirrors on my 02 as well. I was looking at the second gen Dodge flip outs and noticed that they are pretty close to how they mount and the size. Shouldn't take too much work to make them fit. First thing is first though, I have to remove one of the OE mirrors and make a template with some cardstock of where the mounting studs are and the edge of the trim. Then just go to a pick-n-pull and see whether the frist gen or second gen is closest (third gen has only been out for 3 years and has too many electronics in it). I was hoping to get some with the defroster in them so I can figure out how get them to defrost. That was the only electronics I was concerned with as I don't have power mirrors as it is.

They have a small angle from appearance, but don't affect look or performance at all. I love mine.
