I have a 2003 supercrew 4x4 that's rusted out and a 2002 supercrew 4x2 cab that's rust free, both are 5.4 xlt trucks. I'm wanting to swap them out. Anyone know if the trans tunnel is the same and if the 2wd dash harness has the plugs and wiring for the 4x4 switch ect. Or would I have to swap the dash harness as well. Any help is appreciated.

 

Seems I saw an unused plug behind my dash on my RWD where the 4WD dash control goes. Just go look at the RWD and see if it is there.

The physical cab/floor etc is the same between models. I have a ton of space under the cab behind the transmission where the transfer case is on a 4WD.

 

Ok that's what I'm hoping for, the parts truck is a few hours away at a buddies house I still have to pick it up. Thanks for the input.
