Default heat problems please HELP

I have a 1999 f150 with a 4.6L
I first noticed that the problem started when it got cold about two weeks ago. First I change the thermastat no change 2nd I flushed the heater core got a little rust out of it not bad though had a good flow of water and air I assume that is fine 3Rd changed the water pump here the horror stories about impeller blades
The odd thing is i have decent heat till the engine warms all the way up and the stat opens then the heat starts to go down from there unless you bring the rpms up to 3000 or so then you get decent heat for a few seconds till rpm drops the blend door seams to be working properly
you can here it move and seal
my cousin is a mechanic and took it to work today and ran it with his scan tool to verify engine temp it ran around 195 with alittle change he said its normal he flushed the core for over a hour hes as lost as i am
does anyone have any ideas Im out of them
please help

My truck is having the same problem. It is not the blend door, not the thermostat. I have good flow through my heater core. Did you find out the problem?

Default found my issue

I have found my problem the heater core is partially clogged
i have been reverse flushing the core and cleaning the core with prestone super clean
I dont have great heat but its alot better than it was
I was told to try some CLR and water for 5-10 mins Ive been getting rust flakes out of the core which from what i can tell there where from the water pump impeller the impeller was rusted but still had fins
I have been removing the heater hoses from the block so i dont have to mess with the quick disconects but i relised today that i should have pulled the restictor out so any bigger flakes would not get hung up on it
I will try the ClR and pull the restrictor when it warms up a bit
I hope that it works so i dont have to pull the dash
On the down side the time i have put into clean the core i could have had the core changed hind site is always 20/20
