2003 STX Brake Rotor
Recently did 4 wheel brake job on my 2003 STX. Pads+4 rotors turned. After, pulsing. Got out dial indicator. After turning RtFront is .010 runout. Ouch - well, it was pretty scored and shop said it was iffy. Ok, I removed, removed/repacked inner/outer bearings, looked at the races inside the hub, see nothing off. Replaced, redid 30'/17'/11"xLb torquing sequence to set hub on spindle. Same runout. No prob, I'd prefer new front rotors anyway.
PROBLEM: I CAN'T FIND A REPLACEMENT ROTOR!!!!
Every source insists the rotor is 308mm, but that's just not right.
I have a 2003 F150 STX, RWD, V6 - Canadian factory made. STX trim pkg has 17", 5-bolt wheels. No tow pkg, not 7700. 4-wheel disc, front are ABS, not rear. Front calipers are dual piston. Front rotors are integral, single casting Hub/Rotor w/conical inner/outer bearings - ie., notfloating rotors. Rotors are positively factory original - marked Bosch, with stamping "330mm OD". I measure OD as 13.125".
I've checked Motorcraft, NAPA, Autozone, RockAuto... NONE even list a 330mm rotor for 2WD, 2003 F150. Everything says that the truck uses a standard 308mm 5-lug integral hub rotor. Which just ain't right - that's basically 1" smaller. Every counter-person has insisted it must be aftermarket - but its not - I'm the 1st owner.
At one shop, we looked through other rotors and found several 330mm rotors, but all were either floating (later models), or were 6,7,8 bolt patterns.
Can ANYONE shed some light on this? Usually a fast search online finds these kind of oddities, but I'm stumped.
The STX has several part oddities like this, so I've run into this before, but usually its well documented in at least some forum.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Check out a 2002 Expedition for that rotor. Raybestos number 66984R is for the EXPY and Lightning, and 66697R for the F150 and Harley Davidson. The Expy/Lightning are bigger in diameter.
