Default 2003 ford f150 no coolant system pressure

Hey yall I have a 2003 ford f150 5.4 with 202k on it and I noticed yesterday when I was checking the coolant level that there was no pressure at the overflow cap after it was warmed up, there's been no coolant loss, and when running at operating temperature the upper radiator hose has no pressure/flow I can squeeze it shut, it doesn't overheat and the heat in cab is great, what could be the cause of the no pressure/flow? thanks

Water pump, intake manifold, head gasket, blockage in water jackets. Do a coolant system pressure test. This will tell us a lot more, and quite possibly show you where you're leaking anything or not.

Let it set and idle, it will tell ya. LOL You may just not have warmed it up enough to get pressure.

Replaced the water pump and thermostat and overflow cap and now have pressure but now I have to figure out why it runs hotter that usual, it did it before and is still doing it, I'm thinking a leaking headgasket but no coolant missing or overheating just running hotter than normal , here's a picture

It fluctuates between running normal temp and the temp in the picture, driving conditions don't determine either or, it does it on highway or city

Wait let me get this straight. The pic you uploading isn't normal temp?

Your asking too much from that gauge. LOL
Accuracy is + - 20 to 25%.

So the gauge is not accurate? Even if it moves from my normal temp to the temp in the picture ?

They are made to show cold, medium (normal) and hot. Resistance gauges vary a lot.
