Hello, I have a 2003 f150XL standard cab 4.2L 6Cyl. My question is: has anybody out there ever replace a 2003 rear window with a 2004 rear power slide window? I have no problem with the electrical part, but i noticed the bolt pattern is different which I believe i can overcome. My main concern is, will the 2004 window physically fit in the 2003 window hole. And if not, how much modding would I have to do to get it to fit without it leaking?

 

Why go for a different body style window?

I don’t believe they’re too terribly common, but power sliding rears were optional on XLTs and higher trims in 2003. Probably not standard on King Ranch models, but that’s where I’ve seen the button for the slider under the headlight switch the most.
