2003 f150 dies while driving and have to wait to start again.
It's got 181k just changed the entire fuel pump w/ sender and assembly, fuel filter changed recently. New relay, fuse is good, I have pressure in the fuel rail. No codes have be shown. It seems something is faulty when the engine is warm, it either dies while driving, or wont start as if it's not getting fuel after a brief stop. I've already put 500 into it and would really like to have this problem resolved. Thanks in advance for your help!

What's the pressure at the rail when it won't start ?

I dont have a gauge yo shock rail pressures, it was doing this before I changed the pump. I did remove to inspect the fuel pressure regulator, it was really stuck. Upon inspection I noticed the small o ring on the Male center post was loose and didn't fill the channel it sits in. Pics of new regulators the o ring filled this channel.

How long do you have to wait before it restarts? Does it do anything before it dies, or does it just go completely dead? Is it just the engine or is it all of the electrical stuff? Do you try to restart it immediately? What happens? Give a good description of exactly how it dies, how long (in minutes, hours, actual numbers) you have to wait, and how it starts when it does eventually start.
Are there any pending codes? They won't light the SES light but will show up on a code reader.

I have a '03 f150 King Ranch 5.4 Triton that sometimes won't start. I changed theELPHI CV10097 {#F75Z9F715AA, F75Z9F715AB, YL3Z9F715AA} Info
It didn't fix it. I cleaned the old one with starter fluid and reinstalled it and it started running but died. Then I put the intake system back on and it ran fine that day. The next morning it wouldn't start again so I pulled the the intake sprayed starter fluid in it and it started so I reattached the intake system. Then I realized I didn't tighten down the clamp and it works now. (For now) I don't know it may not start tomorrow. Please let me know if you have any ideas. TY

Can you do an OBD check and see if any sensor is coding. I'm leaning to a faulty sensor, either cam or crank. Leaning more to the crank one.
