JP, my dad was a self taught body and paint man extrodinare back in the day- it was a hobby- he would buy totaled Rancheros and fix them up- anyway, i learned all i know by dads instructions- consequently, my knowledge/ equipment is mostly 70’s vintage- (and i was poor student!) but i painted/restriped my Cobra2, my sons Tempo, various and sundry tractors/ dozer/ lawn equip.
There is a multitude of tutorials out there that wasnt there 25 yrs. ago- so you should have little difficulty if you DIY- (you could let some air out of the wifes tire, then say” well if i had an air compressor, i could fix that!”)- maybe she would let you get one then!-

For the bumper cover, one is plenty. Maybe a little over one for the grille surround. Depends if you do both sides probably, lol.

For comparison, one can was about enough to do 2 wheels for me.

That is exactly what I needed White. Ill see what I can put together. Im honestly kind of happy to be going back to the honeycomb grille. The ebay special billet grill I had to put on there after I hit a buzzard had sub-par powder coating and already started to fade.

JP, we also have an NCS here that can do the same thing. It looks like they have a location in Myrtle Beach. Are you close to there?

http://www.nationalcoatingsandsupplies.com

I prefer the other place (Superior) merely because of the staff. And the fact they are only a mile from work is pretty rad too, lol.

EDIT - Here's the location info I found:
National Coatings & Supplies
633 Robert M Grissom Pkwy.
Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
843-213-2146

I'm still trying to get my house buttoned up before I can pour my floor and build my shed on the acre we have across the road. Then I can have all new toys brought in. Lol

I messaged superior this morning to see how they feel about shipping but nat'l is close to home. That location is actually 5 minutes from where the wreck actually happened. Lol

LOL, right on. Years ago, NCS (National Coating Supply) was called ABS (Auto Body Supply), and I used to go there all the time because my Buddy's Dad used them for his paint supplies. Then we started using Superior to match our machine colors for work, and I've been going there ever since.

My friends Dad is the best auto body man I've ever seen. I really wanted him to do my Mustang, but they were about to move when I wanted it done.... so I had another guy do it.

Sherwin Williams Automotive Finishes can match and mix paint and put it in a spray can also.

Sherwin Williams is who we used at work to match for years as well, but the location we used could not do auto paint. They told us there is a new law about oil based paints, and said we needed to switch to water based, blah blah blah. So, coincidental that you mention that, KD.... but that is the exact reason we switched.

I've heard that auto body shops in CA now have to use water based paints.... sounds kind of strange to me. Not sure how valid that is..... I should look it up, lol.
