Hey Blaze, does it go away in the rain or if wet?

I recently took it through an automated car wash, where in the beginning you drive in slowly while high pressure sprayers spray the underside of the vehicle.

That will get rid of it for a while it seems, until whatever it is gets dry enough again. It is wild. You'd think It'd be obvious.

I am too cheap to take it through a car wash, but I will spray down the underside next time I wash it and see.

Tailgate is a common area that makes chirping noises. Otherwise, welcome to the old truck club Could be anything.

I appreciate it guys. I did have a squeak there and grease and an adjustment solved that, but this chirping noise is coming from up front. Thanks though

It has been awhile, but mine was making a sound similar to that. Pinpointed the squeak to the left front wheel. There is a cap over the nut with a cotter pin securing it. The cap was not clocked properly and would make a clicking/squeaking sound. Repositioned the cap and cotter pin and everything was fine.

Sounds like fan clutch going out. Had exact same issue and symptoms recently. Replaced fan clutch and all is good. Bearings inside of the clutch are probably shot. The water acts like a lube until it dries and noise starts again.
