Default 2003 clicking noise

I have a 2003 F150 and it just started to have this clicking noise. You can really hear it good underneath on the passenger side of the truck. Does this year have problems with cam phasers like the 04 and 05 did a lot? You can hear it at idle really good and when your driving if you pass a parked car or a barrier it echos and i can hear it. I never heard this since my last oil change. Always used 5w20 motorcraft and has 67,000 miles. any suggestions? Thanks

That year didn't have cam phasers more then likely it's an exhaust manifold leak

With those miles, better re-torque the plugs pronto. IMO, it's either the plugs or your have the wrong PCV valve in there. Gets real noisy with the wrong type.

Right, if they're the originals...or the wrong type.
