2002 SCrew 3"Body Lift
Has anyone installed a 3" PA body lift on their SCrew? I'm looking to install it tomorrow and was just wondering how long it will take. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Be ready to set aside a day to do it (8 to 12 hours).
I did it on my truck in a day with no help. Had a couple of spacers left over, but in the end, love the way it looks.
Make sure you have a good drill bit specifically made for metal, to drill the stock front spacers.
Lay all the parts out before you start, it'll make it easier. And read the instructions and check forums (I have mine linked if you go through my old posts). The instructions are very minimal in the kit.

I installed mine by myself, could probably do another one in 6hrs or less...
The welding is minimal, just have to weld crush blocks in between the frame and bed supports (where there are no bolts to go through and retain spacers) 4 total...

I did one on mine. Took me a while I would set aside a whole weekend to do it because as like any project, you will encounter problems (bed bolts not coming out, drilling holes for bumpers etc) it just takes some time to do man. Make sure youve got at least one other guy helping you. In the end, they look pretty good on our trucks. I didnt weld the spacer things in because I dont have a welder, and mines holding up fine. I had 1000 lbs of dirt in my bed and it didnt cause any harm. Good luck.
Heres a before and after.

Don't mind the for sale sign, this pic is very old but this is my old 03 FX4 with a 3" BL and 315's. Although it's not bad looking with the BL, I'll never put another one on or even buy another one for that matter, just becasue they are cheap and cheesey. Full suspension lift or it just gets leveled for me.

Had a friend tack weld it, took him only a few minutes. I prepped it (exposed the metal) once he welded it, I threw on a thick coat of under body spray to keep it from rusting.
Again, the whole thing isn't hard to do, just time consuming.
