Default 2002 F150 V6 Engine Swap

I have an 02 Explorer Sport with a 4.0L v6 (wrecked). I have found a 02 F150 XL with a 4.2 L V6 (high miles, 200K +) thinking about an engine swap. What do you think?

It would be quite the job, but if your up to it! I'd say go for it!
The Explorer has, 203HP 5250RPMs and 237 Lb-Ft @3000RPMs stock, 202HP @4800RPMs, and 252 Lb-Ft @3400RPMs.
You'd have to swap computers and probably modify mounts and other clearances.
if you do decide posting a build thread would be cool!

Possible, but i wouldnt do it. I've never liked the 4.0 v6 from ford, the 4.2 in my personal opinion is a much more reliable engine

The f150 should be fine as long as its mainteninced good. My dad's had almost 400k on his 97 4.2 then the engine locked up, then put a new engine in it and the tranny finally went 197k miles on the sec engine. Them 4.2's arent real powerful, but they sure can last
