Default 2002 f150 exhaust

  • Hey i have a 2002 f150 5.4 with a y pipe and i was looking to upgrade to ture dual and idk what get and i would i am looking for something that would give the deep throwty sound or whats a better size pipe 2.5 in or 3 in diamiter pipe..

Keep all your catalytic converters, run 2.5" straight duals all the way back from the cats to whatever tips you prefer. Great deep sound, plenty of noise without sounding obnoxious lol

im running all 4 cats into a SIDO supper 44 just dupped under the bed. sound great and its not too loud, i had it straight piped but it sounded bubbly and thats queer on a truck

There nice I'm installing one on my F150 here at income tax time.. There very Throaty an loud with a nice drone

If you want a loud "performance" muffler go with a magnapack or a dynomax bullet.

I'll be installing tomorrow, my pacesetter LT headers with there 3" ORY pipe with a borla pro XS and no cats. I hope like hell it gives the sound that I'm looking for.
