Help withe torsion keys??
i have a 2000 f150 4x4 with ready lift keys and a two in block in the rear and a 3 inch body lift. right now i have 33's on her but tomorrow i am putting a new set of 35's on. i have a RC aal on its way to lift the rear a bit more and i want to turn up the keys a bit more but don't know how much is too much? right now i have a inch of thread left on the adjusting bolts but my upper control arms are almost hitting the bump stops.how far do ppl usually crank em up?

If your arms are already close to hitting the bump stops, do you want to limit the suspension travel any more?
How are the angles of your front axles? If you are almost on the bump stops, they must to be maxed out also.
Sounds like it's too far already.
I'm a firm believer in lifting it right, or not doing it at all.

thats what im afraid of... something breaking, the cv's are on a great angle already, thats what i need to know is what other ppl have done and how far they have them cranked?

ive got my keys cranked up with less than half an inch of thread showing on the adjustment bolt. i have 2 inches between where the control arm bump stop would hit. i also have a 3" body lift and i have an extra leaf in the rear due to it being a 7700. no problems with ride quality and no abnormal wear. have had em cranked for over a year now.

yeah... im kinda sorry for gettin em now. the reason y i wanna raise the front more is due to getting the 35's and i also have a 2inch wheel spacer, dont thing the tires will clear the bumper and fender if i dont.

lol i clear 35s with no problem. you can run 37s with a 3" body lift and torsion crank. youll be fine man. or you thinking its going to rub on the bumper when you turn since you have spacers?
