Back Up Camera Mirror Retrofit
Hello, i'm sure this has been discussed numerous times, but have not found what I was looking for. If someone has a quick answer, or could direct me to any pertinent information I would certainly appreciate it.
Have a very nice, super clean 2003 2WD F150 King Ranch Super-Crew.
Wanting to install a back up camera. I have seen all of the ideas pertaining to mounting/location of the rear view camera. My interest is more that as I am happy with the stock radio, and want to keep the truck original, I was wondering if anyone knows if a later model mirror w/camera would fit? I would like to keep the auto-dimming, and compass if possible. (Compass not absolutely required). Also would the wiring be a direct fit for the typical aftermarket camera? Or maybe an adapter?
In looking through the different f150 forums before joining, I chose the F150.com forum because I saw some pretty good and neat ideas on here, and everyone seems pretty proud of their rides, and willing to show and share.
