Question 2001 Ford F-150 not starting/starting problem(s)

I have a 2001 Ford F-150 super-crew lariat 4x4. I went to start it up yesterday morning and it cranked then turned on then sputtered then cut off. When i tired to start it again, all it would do is crank. The day before this it started and ran fine. But some days before this it would seem to start weird, not like it usually does. I tried it again this morning and all it would do it crank, it sounded like it was about to turn over but it doesn't. I've tired jumping it and it still wont start. I've read on here and there seems like it could be a lot of things, but I'm not sure what it could be. I have just got a brand new battery and have tested the alternator before i was having this problem and my voltage does drop a little but is still safe i was told. I don't know what i could be but please any help or ideas on this will be very appreciated, THANKS.

I was told it could be my alternator, dead cell in the battery, maybe the fuse, or something to do with the fuel delivery.

Check Fuel Pressure and make sure you have Spark to the plugs. You can get a Fuel Gauge at a Local Auto Parts store and it is easy to check as the valve is on the fuel rail. You can check voltage to each coil and make sure it is getting proper voltage and you can check the resistance on each coil to see if they are all the same, if so your coils are most likely good. These are just a few quick tests you can do in order to find out if your fuel and ignition system are operating properly. If these two systems are not operating properly, they can cause the problems you speak of. Hope this helps

Should indicate your fuel pump is turning on. So it shouldn't be your fuel pump.

I'm confused as to what you mean by not turning over. But it's cranking. Do you mean that you can try to start it and tell that the flywheel is spinning but the engine never starts? Like in a scary movie? If so, have you changed or done anything recently? Tune up, etc?
