I've been running a 2.5" coil spacer for 4 years now, and I can tell you that is why your ride is so stiff. For the last 2 years I have also had the 3.5" spindle lift on. If you want to do these be prepared to replace your ball joints yearly.

Shocks are not going to fix the ride. You have aver compressed the front springs and probably sitting on the front drop stops with the upper control arms. Get rid of the spacers and get 3.5 lift spindles.

Well I got 18 extended inch shocks instead of 15 and it rides better but can still hear a LOUD BAM!! when i go over bumps? Is that the spacer? And also if i get the spindle is there any other new stuff i will need? Like different sized control arms or shocks and wat not? Or just the spindles? And i also heard it will make ur wheels stick out. i have 20 inch rims and dont want my wheels pudged out. And with a spindle lift will it still be bumpy?

It's your spacer. You are limiting suspension travel and causing your suspension to bottom out on the tough stuff. I have no idea about lifting two wheel drive trucks though so I cannot help you there. Never owned a 2wd

The banging you are hearing the upper control arm hitting the droop stop. Your whells will stickout with spindles. You will be replacing steering components very often.

a spindle lift will push out your font wheels around an inch. You don't need anything more than what the kits come with and your new shocks should be just fine with the spindles. On my 97 2wd I had bought the rcx 3.5'' spindle lift first then later down the road decided I wanted more height and added a 1.5'' spacer. The spacer combined with the hydraulic rcx shocks killed my ride quality. Thats whats killing yours is definitely the spacer. That's why I typically recommend the fabtech kit for our generation 2wds to people. Because they include drop down cross members while including bigger springs to lift your truck 7.5'' and keep full suspension travel. I normally only recommend that kit to people wanting run 35s though, the rcx 3.5'' kit is a great kit to run 33s with and will maintain full suspension travel. Most people still end up wanting 35s though.

Thank yall for the help. I ended up getting shocks 3 inches longer extended front and back. It feels a LOAD of a lot smoother. It's always the logical things u find answers to on the internet
